dvdGOLD.co.uk is an online DVD store, specialising in classic Film & TV from Britain, Hollywood and around the world. And, while we're a brand new website, we're actually part of the SimplyMedia group - who have operated a successful mail order catalogue business for more than 25 years, from our warehouses in London, Chester and Guernsey. In fact, during that quarter century, we've sold tens of millions of DVDs, CDs and (originally!) videos, direct to the quarter of a million monthly recipients of our various print catalogues (distributed under our own brands, or on behalf of other companies - such as the Guardian, Telegraph and People's Friend), or via inserts and adverts in the national press. In addition to our retail arm, our film and TV production division makes documentaries for the Discovery and History channels, amongst other broadcasters in the UK and North America. And we also manufacture and distribute 500+ of our own DVD titles under licence from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and many of the major studios - with recent hits including 'Our Friends in the North', 'Grand Designs' and 'The Alan Clarke Diaries' (all of which you'll also find in our stores).
